KNAPSACK POWER SPRAYER PERFORMANCE TESTING

KNAPSACK POWER SPRAYER PERFORMANCE TESTING

The performance test of knapsack power sprayer is carried out based on Indonesian National Standard 7640: 2011 (SNI 7640: 2011) which consists of several parts, among others:
1. Verification tests which includes measurements of dimensions, empty weight, tank capacity, drive motor specifications, and construction of materials that make up the components of knapsack power sprayer (water tank, pump, spray pipe, nozzle, belt, engine).

2. Performance tests were conducted at each spray pressure value (5, 10, 20, and 30 bar) including tank scale error, spray discharge, discharge deviation, spray angle, effective spray width, effective spray height, droplet size and density, residual liquid volume, and fuel consumption. In addition, in this section, the sprayer stability test, belt damage test, impact test, and valve durability test were also conducted.

3. Service tests covering aspects of work safety, noise level, vibration level, and ease of starter ignition.
